Nearly 9 million doses of COVID vaccine sit unused in Florida, and close to 6 million returned to feds

As Florida’s COVID-19 vaccine surplus grows and demand weakens, providers say they can’t help but waste doses and fear vials stored in their freezers will expire before they can be used in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
