Hurricane Iota strengthens to a Category 2 hurricane as it approaches Central American coast

Hurricane Iota has strengthened to a Category 2 hurricane with winds reaching 100 mph. The storm is forecast to be a major Category 4 hurricane with winds of about 140 mph when it approaches Nicaragua and Honduras.
